Cambridge, Mass. - Senior setter Brooke Stanley was named the America East Conference Volleyball Setter of the Week for the second straight time, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon. Stanley led the Great Danes to a 2-1 record over the weekend at Ohio State's Sports Imports Classic.
Stanley, a native of Hendersonville, N.C., led the conference for the second straight week, averaging 10.73 assists per set. She also tallied 2.55 digs and 1.55 kills per set while leading the Great Danes to a .204 team hitting percentage. The highlight of the weekend came against #25 Ohio State, in which Stanley recorded a double-double of 41 assists and 14 digs, while also adding five kills and a block. She totaled 40 assists, eight digs and eight kills in the opener against Akron before posting 37 assists, six digs and four kills in a sweep of Maryland.
