CORRIN CONROY SHOOTS SCHOOL RECORD 77 AT DARTMOUTH INVITATIONAL

Hanover, N.H. – Freshman Corrin Conroy shot a school-record 77 to lead the University at Albany women’s golf team in the opening round at the Dartmouth Invitational held at the Hanover Country Club. The Great Danes are in eighth place out of 14 schools after the first round.

Conroy, a freshman from Oswego, N.Y., led the Great Danes to team total of 339 with a 40 on the front nine and a 37 on the back nine for her score of 77. Sophomore Jessica Signorelli carded an 81 (42-39) for second among UAlbany golfers and 15th overall. Senior Maggie Taylert shot an 84 (46-38), while Sun Hwa Kim shot a 97 (47-50) and Rebecca Lukac carded a 106 (50-56) for the Great Danes.

The second round of the invitational is Sunday, Sept. 16 at Hanover Country Club.
