Cambridge, Mass. - UAlbany’s Joe Greene and Fey Adaramola have been selected as the America East Conference male and female indoor track and field performers of the week, as announced on Tuesday, March 24 by the conference office. Both Great Danes are being honored for their performances at the Carolina Classic in Puerto Rico this past weekend.
Greene qualified for the NCAA East Regional Championship in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles. An All-American in the event, he posted a winning time of 51.69 seconds. Adaramola played a role in two ECAC qualifying marks. She won the 200-meter dash in 24.71 seconds, and also anchored the second-place 4x400-meter relay team which clocked in a time of 3:50.57.
