University of Albany Men's Lacrosse Signs Equipment Deal With Maverik - UAlbany Sports 2009


The University at Albany men's Division I lacrosse team is the latest team to score an equipment deal with the innovative equipment manufacturer Maverik Lacrosse.

Beginning in the fall of 2009 and over the next three seasons, the Danes will take to the field in custom purple, yellow and white Maverik Maybach gloves and shoulder/elbow guards.

UAlbany's players will also have the new Maverik "Vision" head at their disposal with any shaft of their choice from the Maverik arsenal, including the recently released H2 and the infamous Wonder Boy.

"The boys couldn't be more excited about making the move to Maverik," said University at Albany men's lacrosse coach Scott Marr. "We appreciate John Gagliardi and Paul Carcaterra for not
only what they have done for the University at Albany but also the lacrosse community. Maverik is a top of the line product and the University at Albany is proud to be a wearing the Maverik
logo."

"We are looking forward to working with everyone at UAlbany and will do everything to support Scott and the Danes' efforts to bring home a fifth America East Conference championship and progress further in the NCAA tournament."
