Cambridge, Mass. – University at Albany’s Tee Ladouceur has been chosen as America East Conference Rookie of the Week in women’s lacrosse, as announced on Monday, March 10 by the conference office.
Ladouceur, a freshman attack/midfielder from Slingerlands, N.Y., totaled 10 goals, one assist, nine ground balls and six caused turnovers in three games. UAlbany (3-2) defeated Siena and Le Moyne and lost to unbeaten Harvard last week. She leads the team in scoring with 14 goals and two assists this season.
Ladouceur had three goals, all in the second half, in a come-from-behind win versus Le Moyne, the defending Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference champion. She tallied a career-high four goals against Harvard. Ladouceur, a first-team high school All-American and the Capital Region’s offensive player of the year in 2007, added three goals and one assist against Siena, plus picked up a career-best five ground balls.
