University of Albany's Kristi Troch Named 2010 America East Conference Field Hockey Scholar-Athlete - UAlbany Sports 2011

Cambridge, Mass. - Sophomore goalkeeper Kristi Troch was named the America East Conference Field Hockey Scholar-Athlete for the 2010 season, as announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon.

Troch was named the America East Goalkeeper of the Year last fall after leading UAlbany to its second conference title in the last three seasons. Troch, a human biology major who maintains a 3.67 cumulative grade point average, led the nation in save percentage last season (.818). Helping the Great Danes achieve a national ranking for the majority of the season, Troch led the conference in save percentage and goals against average (1.14). Troch as twice been named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll, has received America East All-Academic Team recognition and is a member of the UAlbany Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
