Syracuse, N.Y. - Annemarie Kissane recorded a team-low score of 85 to lead the UAlbany golf team to a win over Niagara in a duel match at Drumlins Country Club to start of the 2010 fall season. The Great Danes carded a team score of 349 while the Purple Eagles finished with an 18-hole team total of 380 in the single-round match.
Stephanie Klein was the second UAlbany finisher with a score of 86, while Corrin Conroy finished one shot behind, carding an 87 over 18 holes. Freshman Alana Calmi recorded a 91 in her collegiate debut, while classmane Lisa Agoglia carded a 95. Fellow freshman Rae Mahon rounded out the UAlbany scorers with a score of 98.
Niagara's Brittany Siechen was the individual medalist at the tournament with an 18-hole score of 83.
UAlbany will return to action in its fall season on Sept. 18-19 at Dartmouth.
Team Scores: UAlbany - 349; Niagara - 380.
