UAlbany's Brian Caufield Chosen in Sixth Round of Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft

Baltimore, Md. - University at Albany's Brian Caufield was taken in the sixth round of the Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft by the Rochester Rattlers on Friday, Jan. 21 at The Power Plant. Caufield, the 32nd overall selection, becomes the seventh player in the UAlbany program's history to be chosen in the MLL Collegiate Draft.

Caufield, who is positioned at both midfielder and attackman, was chosen to the 2011 Inside Lacrosse/Face-Off Yearbook Preseason All-America Team last month. He was UAlbany's second-leading scorer last year with 10 goals and 22 assists despite missing the final five games of his junior season with a broken jaw.
