University of Albany Womens Soccer Destroys Siena - UAlbany Sports 2018

Claire Stackel crossed the goalie box from the right to assist Mariah Williams in scoring the first goal of the game at the twelve minute mark.

Despite many attempts, Williams’ goal remained the only goal scored by either team going into the second half. Led by their senior teammate, two freshman stood out in the second half, scoring their first goals of the season. Midfielder Jada Colbert, assisted by Kimberly Dieroff, dribbled in from the right and blasted a tailing shot across the inside left post in the 60th minute, putting another mark on the board for the Great Danes.

In the 77th minute, Christina Cernuto grabbed a loose ball in front of the goal and turned to score in close. Cernuto was assisted by Gina Bracamonte. Andrea Leitner served as goal keeper for the Great Danes and made three saves during the match.
