University of Albany's Head Coach Scott Marr Will Serve As Coach On Iroquois Nationals - UAlbany Sports 2018

COACH MARR, UALBANY PLAYERS TO SERVE WITH 2018 IROQUOIS NATIONALS

ALBANY, N.Y. – With the World Games starting in a week, several people with UAlbany ties, including Scott Marr and five players, will be part of the 2018 Iroquois Nationals roster.

Five UAlbany players, current Great Danes Tehoka Nanticoke and Ron John plus alumni Lyle Thompson, Miles Thompson and Ty Thompson, all made the 23-man Iroquois Nationals roster.

Nanticoke and all three Thompsons are listed at attack while John will be in the midfield. Lyle and Miles Thompson were on the team for the 2014 World Games while Ty was a reserve; each Nanticoke and John played for the U19 Iroquois Nationals previously.

Marr will serve as an assistant coach and team’s offensive coordinator under head coach Mark Burnam. Marr returns to the World Games in a coaching capacity, having helped team USA, last in 2006.
