University of Albany WBB Jumps a Pair of Spots to #17 in Mid-Major Poll - UAlbany Sports 2015

ALBANY, N.Y. – After winning a pair of America East victories, the UAlbany women’s basketball team is up to #17 in the College Insider Mid-Major Top-25, released on Tuesday. It is the fourth-consecutive poll that the Great Danes have been ranked in the top-20 of the poll. UAlbany got 228 points in the poll and has been in the top-25 every week this season. The Great Danes are the highest-ranked mid-major in the state of New York, three spots above #20 Marist, and the highest-ranked in the America East Conference, six spots up on #23 Maine. Princeton, the last undefeated women’s basketball team in Division I, is #1 in the poll with 768 points and 28 of 31 first-place votes. James Madison is second while Chattanooga is third.
