Amanda McPhee Leads UAlbany Golf on First Day of Fairleigh Dickinson Invitational

Hillsborough, N.J. – Junior Amanda McPhee was tied for fourth individually, shooting a first-round score of 79 to lead UAlbany on the first day of the Fairleigh Dickinson Invitational at the Royce Brook Golf Course. The Great Danes stood fifth in the team standings after recording a score of 333 over the par-72, 5,935-yard course.

Freshman Annemarie Kissane (Albany) posted a score of 81 over the first 18 holes to tie for 10th in the individual standings. Sophomore Corrin Conroy recorded a first-round score of 86 while junior Jessica Signorelli carded an 87 on the first day of play. Freshman Stephanie Klein rounded out the UAlbany scoring with an 18-hole score of 88 on Monday.

Sacred Heart’s Carly Bergin led all players with a 77 in the first round, while Fairleigh Dickinson led the team standings by posting a score of 318.
