ALBANY, N.Y. – In the first game of the 2016 season, the ninth-ranked University at Albany field hockey team came away with a 4-0 victory over the visiting Hofstra University Pride,
Friday afternoon at Alumni Turf. With a well-balanced offensive attack, four different UAlbany players found the back of the cage. Meanwhile, the Great Danes’ defense did not allow a single penalty corner, as senior goalkeeper Maxi Primus earned the shutout, recording six saves in the win.
