PERRY, N.Y. – Four UAlbany men’s lacrosse players were selected as 2016 All-Americans by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA), tying the most for a season in program history.
Connor Fields and Blaze Riorden were chosen as Third Team All-Americans while John Maloney and Seth Oakes were picked as Honorable Mention. The list of All-Americans was announced on the morning of the NCAA semifinals.
Fields earned All-America honors for the second straight season after being named honorable mention in 2015. The sophomore attack added 26 ground balls and, as of the weekend, was sixth in DI with 4.56 points per game.
