Women's 4x400-Meter Relay Breaks School Record On Day One At Penn Relays - UAlbany Sports 2012

Philadelphia, Pa.- On day one of the Penn Relays, the women's track and field 4x400-meter relay team of Allison Rogers, Brittany Eveleth, Tynelle Taylor-Chase and Sherez Mohamed broke the UAlbany school record with a time of 3:43.38. The squad previously broke the school's record last weekend at the Larry Ellis Invitational finishing at 3:44.27. Their mark of 3:43.38 qualified them for the Eastern College Athletics Conference Championships on Saturday, April 28.

Other notable finishes on day one included the college women's distance medley team finishing third with a time of 11:46.22. Kathryn Fanning ran the 1200-meter leg in 3:34, Elia Francis ran the 400-meter leg in 56.9, Jonelle White ran the 800-meter leg in 2:13.4 and Miranda McConnell finished off the final 1600-meters in 5:00.9.

Patricia McNish finished seventh in the eastern women's long jump with a mark of 18-feet 7 and 1/4 inches.
