The tryout will be used by USA Volleyball to identify prospective athletes for the U.S. National and Olympic Teams, as well as the A2 program which is planning to train in Atlanta, Ga., from approximately May 19-28, 2008.

Among the invited athletes, the position breakdown for the tryout is 33 liberos, 29 outside hitters, 25 middle blockers, 15 setters and 13 opposites. The tryout will be represented by athletes from 50 different collegiate volleyball programs in all three NCAA divisions.
