The Albany baseball team came up to the plate in the bottom of the 9th inning, down 4 runs in Albany's second game of the America East Championship series.
Sayre and West recorded 2 straight outs to start the inning.
Then, the magic began. Konstanty homered, bringing the deficit down to 3 runs.
Wood reached first on an error by the 3rd baseman. Barbato and Corvino both singled, loading the bases. Wyland doubled, and cleared the bases, scoring 3 runs to tie the game. Hill was intentionally walked, putting runners on 2nd and 1st.
Donovan then ended the game, by singling and driving in Wyland, scoring the winning run.
Albany wins 8 to 7, earning them a trip to the America East Championship final. Albany will play the winner of the 12 o'clock game tomorrow (Saturday) Maine vs Binghamton, at 3:35pm.. If they win the game, the win the America East Championship. If they lose, they will play Sunday for another chance at taking the Championship crown.
